Dilip Khatekar, the founder and director of Step Up Academy, established the coaching institute after transitioning from a career as a government officer. Having cleared the MPSC exams in 2015 and served in administrative roles such as Chief Officer at Jalna Municipal Council and Assistant Commissioner at Aurangabad Municipal Corporation, Khatekar realized his passion for teaching.

Drawing from his experience and training, he has designed a curriculum focusing on simplifying complex topics for competitive exams. Step Up Academy aims to guide students towards a future in government administrative service, emphasizing the importance of single-minded focus, dedication, consistency, and resilience.
